Description
The Q-Swittched ND:YAG is a type or laser used in medical and aesthetic procedures that generates very ultra-short (nanosecond 10^-9)) and high intensity pulses of high peak power to selectively target pigment lesions and tatoo ink without harming the surrounding tissue, typically at wavelengths of 532nm and 2064nm
The laser works by energizing a crystal with a flash lamp or diode, emitting specific light wavelengths. This focused laser beam heats and breaks down the target tissue, releasing pigments and substances that the body naturally eliminates.
